Overview

When purchasing or making use of our products or services, you automatically indicate that you have carefully read and agree with the terms and conditions below.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Service Agreement

Please contact us to obtain a PDF copy of the General Terms & Conditions, also referred to as the Service Agreement, as referenced below. The general terms & conditions as referenced below apply to the products and services rendered from AI Certification Services, LLC. Please contact us if you prefer using your own Service Agreement.

Date and Location of Service

The final start date of the rendered services will be mutually agreed upon; at least 15 business dates prior to the agreed start date.
The location(s) of the rendered service(s), will be communicated in a timely manner; at least 15 business days prior to the agreed start date.
If applicable, and upon your approval, the AI Certification Services, LLC employee delivering the agreed service(s) will stay at hotels you have negotiated corporate rates with.

AI Certification Services, LLC Resources

We only use our own accredited and certified employees when delivering the agreed services.

Subcontracting

Only in highly exceptional cases, AI Certification Services, LLC will use subcontractors. For example due to illness of a key team member and deadlines are to be met. In cases like this, we will notify you before any (part of the) agreed service is subcontracted to another supplier, or subcontractor, or subcontracted to an affiliate of the AI Certification Services, LLC where the affiliate will be providing such service from offshore locations.

References

Upon request we would be pleased to facilitate a customer reference phone call or visit.

Publicity

Neither party shall issue, without consent of the other party, any press release or make any public announcement with respect to our agreement or the employment relationship between us. Regardless of any dispute that may arise in the future, we jointly and mutually agree that we will not disparage, criticize or make statements which are negative, detrimental or injurious to the other to any individual, company or client.

Confidentiality and Proprietary Information

When rendering our products and services, you agree that the contents of any materials provided by AI Certification Services, LLC for the products and services rendered may not be used for any other purpose other than as set forth therein without the prior written permission of AI Certification Services, LLC. The materials or any of its contents may not be used in whole or in part, or reproduced in any form or by any means, or stored in a database or retrieval system, or resold, without the prior written permission of AI Certification Services, LLC.

CONDITIONS CONSULTING and COACHING SERVICES

General Conditions for Consulting and Coaching Services

Confirming a consulting or coaching service can be done, but is not limited to, verbally, by e-mail, by paying by credit card or check, and/or by forwarding to us a Purchase Order.

Payment of Services Fees

All fees are due NET30 days after the invoice date. In case we have not received your payment by that date, a 2% per month late payment fee may be charged.
Applicable retainer and subscription fees for pre-purchased consulting or coaching services are due upon agreeing to, and prior to starting the proposed services.

Payment Options

Service fee payments and expense payments for rendered or retainer-based services can be made:

• By check or money order (in US$ only). Please make your check or money order payable to our corporate address.
• Online by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express). Credit cards will be charged on the first day the subscription service agreement becomes effective or the last day of the rendered services, whichever applies. Our proposals and quotes for consulting and coaching services do not include a 5% credit card processing fee that is charged by the credit card companies and credit card payment gateways. This fee will be added to the total invoice amount. Fees listed online for coaching packages include this credit card processing fees.

We accept Purchase Orders. Please allow for sufficient time for making applicable travel arrangements and for an on-time payment of our invoice when making use of Purchase Orders. See also the “Dates and Locations” clause above.

Cancellations and Refunds of Consulting and Coaching Services
General Refund Terms & Conditions

All refunds are at the discretion of AI Certification Services, LLC.

All requests for refund must be in writing showing the reason for withdrawal or return.

For any purchase that you have made these refund policies will apply.

Only the your purchase prices will be refunded in case of an approved refund. An administration fee of 15% of the total invoice amount will be deducted from any refund.

Cancellation Conditions for Consulting or Coaching Services

Cancellations received in writing no later than 15 business days before the start date of the service for pre-paid services will be fully refunded.

No refunds will be made for pre-paid services when cancellations are made less than 15 business days prior to the start date of the service.

When cancelling a confirmed service within 15 business days prior to the start date of the service that has not been paid, you will reimburse all expenses and fees and compensate for lost revenues; these fees, reimbursements and compensations are due upon receipt of the invoice.

No refunds will be made in case your key representative(s) fail to participate during the delivery of the service.

Postponement Conditions for Consulting or Coaching Services

Postponements of confirmed consulting or coaching services shall be made in writing no later than 15 business days before the start date of the service.

You must reschedule the services within six months from the originally confirmed start date. Rescheduling an unpaid service will be confirmed after receiving full advanced payment of the service.

When postponing a confirmed service within 15 business days prior to the start date of the service, you will reimburse all expenses and fees and compensate for lost revenues. These fees, reimbursements, and compensations are due upon receipt of the invoice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS TRAINING AND WORKSHOP SERVICES

General Terms and Conditions for Training, Education, and Workshop Services

Confirming a training class or workshop as well as the number of participants must be made, but is not limited to, verbally, by e-mail, by paying by credit card or check, and/or by forwarding to us a Purchase Order.

Replacement of participants can be made at any time at no additional charge. Additional examination administration fees may apply. These fees are due upon receipt of the invoice.

Adding participants can be done at the quoted course or workshop fee per participant up until 15 business days prior to the training class or workshop. Payment of the additional fees is due prior to the training class or workshop.

Adding students within the 15 business day timeframe prior to the training class or workshop will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Besides the quoted fee per participant, additional expenses and fees may apply. Payment of the additional fees and expenses is due prior to the training class or workshop.

Shipping Fees Onsite or Online Training Courses or Workshops

When confirming an onsite or online training class or workshop per the “Date and Location of Service” clause above, all shipping fees within the USA or Canada, whichever applies, of applicable publications are included in the total amount of the training course or workshop. For courses and workshops conducted outside of the USA or Canada, these publications are provided at an additional fee.

All courseware and workshop materials are always provided electronically. Every participant can make one hardcopy for personal use. Your electronic copy cannot be used for other purposes. See also our Acceptable Use Policy.

Payment

All fees for training courses or workshops are due on the last day of the training course or workshop. In case we have not received a your acknowledgement of this requirement, we reserve the right to postpone the training class or the workshop. All additional fees, costs, and expenses that are the result of such postponement are to be paid by you.

In case we have not received your payment by that date:

• A 2% per month late payment fee may be charged
• The certification exams will be processed upon receipt of the full payment
• The certificate of completion will be issued upon receipt of the full payment

Training and workshop service fee payments and expense payments for rendered services can be made as follows:

• By check or money order (in US$ only). Please make your check or money order payable to our corporate address.

We accept Purchase Orders. Please allow for enough time for an on-time payment of our invoice when making use of Purchase Orders. The purchase order needs to be in our possession 15 business days prior to the start date of the training class or workshop.

General Refund Conditions

All refunds are at the discretion of AI Certification Services, LLC

Cancellation Conditions for Open Enrollment and Live Online Courses or Workshops on Our Public Roster

Cancellations received in writing, no later than 15 business days before the start date of the training class or workshop will be fully refunded.

No refunds will be made when cancellations are made less than 15 business days prior to the start date of the training class or workshop or during the training class or workshop (e.g. due to an act of God). In this case participants will receive a credit towards another training class or workshop, and a 15% cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellation fees are due upon receipt of the invoice.

Please note that all course and workshop credits are valid for 6 months from the cancellation date.

No refunds will be made in case an enrolled and confirmed participant fails to attend (“no-show”).

No refunds will be made for expenses made for travel, lodging, and meals for onsite or open enrollment training courses that cannot be cancelled.

When a confirmed open enrollment or live online course or workshop needs to be cancelled due to your cancellation that was received within 15 business days prior to the start date of the training course or workshop, or during the course or the workshop (e.g. due to an act of God), the customer will reimburse AI Certification Services, LLC for all expenses and fees and compensate for lost revenues. These fees, reimbursements and compensations are due upon receipt of the invoice.

Postponement Conditions of Open Enrollment and Live Online Courses or Workshops on Our Public Roster

Confirmed open enrollment and live online courses or workshops can be postponed by AI Certification Services, LLC up until 15 business days prior to the start day of the training course or workshop, or, while conducting a course or workshop, e.g. due to an act of God.

Pre-paid course and workshop fees of postponed confirmed open enrollment and live online courses and workshops by AI Certification Services, LLC will be fully refunded.

No refunds will be made for expenses made for the participant’s travel and lodging for postponed confirmed open enrollment training courses and workshops by AI Certification Services, LLC.

Cancellation Conditions for Onsite Courses and Workshops

Cancellations received in writing, no later than 15 business days before the start date of the training class or workshop for pre-paid onsite courses or workshops will be fully refunded.

No refunds will be made for pre-paid onsite courses or workshops when cancellations are made less than 15 business days prior to the start date of the training class or workshop.

When cancelling a confirmed onsite training course or workshop within 15 business days prior to the start date of the course or workshop, or during the course or workshop (e.g. due to an act of God), that has not been paid, you will reimburse all expenses and fees and compensate for lost revenues. These fees, reimbursements, and compensations are due upon receipt of the invoice.

No refunds will be made in case an enrolled and confirmed participant fails to attend (“no-show”).

Purchased self-paced online training courses cannot be cancelled.

No refunds will be made.

Postponement Conditions for Self-paced Online Courses

Purchased self-paced online training courses cannot be postponed.

No refunds will be made.

Prerequisites

Advanced training courses have prerequisites. Please refer to our website for further details and assure you comply with these prerequisites in order to attend the training course. AI Certification Services, LLC is not responsible for purchases made in error of services for which prerequisites apply.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SELF-PACED ONLINE CERTIFICATION TRAINING COURSES

General Terms and Conditions for Self-Paced Online Certification Training Courses

Confirming a self-paced online certification training course can be done, but is not limited to by paying by credit card or check.

All self-paced online certification training courses include one certification exam attempt, which is bundled in the course purchase price. The online certification exam voucher will be purchased and forwarded to the participant upon the participant’s request. This voucher will expire 12 months after the purchase date.

Course Access

Upon purchase, participants will receive access to the self-paced online certification training course for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase (“Access Period”). Access to all course materials will expire at the end of the Access Period. AI Certification Services, LLC is not responsible for any course content, exam attempts, or progress that is unused or incomplete at the time of expiration.

Extensions to the Access Period may be requested in writing prior to the expiration date and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Additional fees may apply. Exam vouchers cannot be extended.

Technical Access Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary hardware, software, and internet connectivity to access and complete the self-paced online certification training course. AI Certification Services, LLC is not responsible for any inability to access or complete a course due to the participant’s failure to meet technical requirements. Minimum system requirements are listed below and it is the participant’s responsibility to verify compatibility prior to purchase.

• Minimum Speed:
  • 1-3 Mbps download and upload speeds for basic video streaming and downloading course materials.
• Recommended Speed:
  • 10 Mbps or higher for seamless video conferencing, live discussions, and large file downloads.
• Stability:
  • A stable connection is crucial to avoid interruptions during live sessions. Wired connections are often more reliable than Wi-Fi.

Additional Requirements

• Webcam and Microphone: Essential for participation in live sessions, discussions, and interactive activities. Required for online exams.
• Headphones or Speakers: For improved audio clarity during lectures and to minimize background noise. Required for online exams.
• Power Supply: A consistent power source is important to prevent device shutdowns during classes. Required for online exams.

Certification Exam and Re-Examination Policy

Each self-paced online certification training course includes one (1) exam voucher for one (1) exam attempt, which must be used within the twelve (12) months period from the voucher creation time. In the event a participant does not pass the certification exam on their first attempt, a re-examination attempt may be purchased at the applicable re-examination fee. Re-examination fees are due upon online purchase.

AI Certification Services, LLC is not responsible for purchases made in error or for exam vouchers that expire unused.

Certificate and Badge Issuance

Upon successfully passing the certification exam, participants will receive a digital certificate of completion and, where applicable, a digital badge. Certificates and badges will be issued upon receipt of full payment of all applicable fees. AI Certification Services, LLC reserves the right to withhold or revoke a certificate or badge in the event of any violation of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to, any breach of the Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use provisions below.

Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

All course materials, content, assessments, quizzes, sample exams, and related resources provided as part of a self-paced online certification training course are the proprietary and copyrighted property of AI Certification Services, LLC and/or APMG International. By purchasing and accessing a self-paced online certification training course, participants agree to the following:

Course materials may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published, or broadcast in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, without the prior written permission of AI Certification Services, LLC, and/or APMG International. Each participant may make one (1) hardcopy of course materials for personal use only. Electronic copies may not be shared, resold, or used for any commercial purpose. Access credentials are issued for individual use only and may not be shared with or transferred to any other person. Any attempt to circumvent, copy, or reverse-engineer course content, assessments, or examination materials is strictly prohibited.

Violation of these Acceptable Use provisions may result in immediate termination of access, revocation of any issued certificate or badge, and may expose the participant to legal action.

Cancellation Conditions for Self-Paced Online Certification Training Courses

Purchased self-paced online certification training courses cannot be cancelled. No refunds will be made.

Postponement Conditions for Self-Paced Online Certification Training Courses
